Tutoring Educational Support in Prek-6th Grade

Who We Tutor (Grades PreK–6th)

Breakthru LLC provides individualized tutoring for all learners in PreK through 6th grade, including students:

  • With specific learning disabilities (reading, writing, math, or language-based challenges)

  • Who are on IEPs or 504 plans

  • Who are English Language Learners (ELL/ESL)

  • Who want to get ahead or strengthen foundational skills

  • Who need support with homework, study skills, or confidence in learning

Our Approach:
Every student receives personalized, one-on-one attention or small group support, tailored to their unique learning style, needs, and goals. We focus on building both skills and confidence, so learning is effective and enjoyable.

What can tutoring look like?

One to one tutoring sessions:

"One-to-one tutoring sessions" means a tutor comes directly to the student’s home/location and works with them individually, rather than in a group setting.

  • In-home → the tutoring happens at the student’s residence (not online or in a tutoring center).

  • One-to-one → it’s a private session with just the tutor and the student, allowing for personalized instruction tailored to the student’s needs.

  • Tutoring sessions → scheduled blocks of time focused on academic support, skill-building, or specific subjects.

It’s basically the most customized and convenient style of tutoring — no travel for the student, and 100% of the tutor’s attention is on them.

A small group tutoring sessions means one tutor works with a handful of students at the same time —up to 4 students (addition for charge)— in the same location.

Here’s what that typically involves:

  • Size → Small enough so each student still gets personal attention, but large enough for group activities.

  • Setting → Could be in someone’s home, a library, a school classroom, a tutoring center, or virtually.

  • Focus → The tutor may give brief whole-group instruction, then circulate to help students individually. Sometimes students work on the same topic, other times each works on their own material.

Benefits:

  • More affordable than one-to-one tutoring.

  • Students can learn from and motivate each other.

  • Builds teamwork and communication skills.
